Move and Mend with Em

By booking an appointment with Move and Mend with Em, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

 

1. Services Provided

Move and Mend with Em provides sports massage and soft tissue therapy services from two clinic premises and, on occasion, via mobile appointments at agreed locations.

Appointment location details will be confirmed at the time of booking.

 

 

2. Bookings & Deposits

  • All online bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment.

  • Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • The deposit amount will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances but may be transferable in line with the cancellation policy.

Failure to pay any remaining balance due may result in refusal of future bookings.

 

 

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a 50% charge.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend will incur 100% of the treatment fee.

  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if adequate notice is given.

4. Illness & Right to Refuse Treatment

Clients must not attend appointments while experiencing symptoms of illness or contagious conditions.

If a client arrives displaying symptoms of illness, Move and Mend with Em reserves the right to refuse treatment on health and safety grounds. In such cases, the full treatment fee will be charged.

Treatment may also be refused if:

  • Relevant medical conditions are not disclosed

  • Treatment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

  • There is inappropriate behaviour

 

5. Mobile Appointments

For mobile appointments:

  • A suitable, safe, and clean treatment space must be provided.

  • Adequate room for a massage table must be available.

  • Parking or access requirements must be disclosed in advance.

  • Travel fees may apply and will be stated prior to booking.

Move and Mend with Em reserves the right to cancel or refuse treatment if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable. Standard cancellation fees may still apply.

 

 

6. Client Health Responsibility

Clients must disclose all relevant medical history, injuries, medications, and changes in health status prior to treatment.

Move and Mend with Em is not a medical doctor or chiropractor. Massage therapy is complementary and not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Results are not guaranteed.

 

 

7. Liability

All treatments are provided with professional care and appropriate qualifications and insurance.

By booking and attending an appointment, clients acknowledge that they voluntarily receive treatment and accept inherent risks associated with sports massage and soft tissue therapy.

Move and Mend with Em shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage except where caused by proven negligence.

 

 

8. Payments

  • Remaining balances are due at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.

  • Failure to settle payment may result in additional recovery action and refusal of future services.

 

9. Data Protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.

 

 

10. Amendments

Move and Mend with Em reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
